Center for Principled Problem Solving

Guilford College's Strategic Long Range Plan states that "Principled Problem Solving" can be understood as the central, unifying theme of the transformative Guilford College education. It can be seen as one thing that is shared throughout every classroom, within each student's experience, in every meal, and from each department. We are a community of teachers and learners who seek not only to understand, but also to engage, our world. Our individual and collective interactions are guided by a shared set of core values that include Community, Diversity, Equality, Excellence, Integrity, Justice, and Stewardship. These values reflect the school's Quaker heritage and a commitment to a better future for all.
